WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FOR CLINICAL ATTACHMENTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
THANK YOU

A clinical attachment is an unpaid placement which enables international medical graduates to gain experience in the NHS.
The trust offers attachments of up to 4 weeks in a variety of areas.

To be eligible to apply candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Must have qualified overseas
  • Passed PLAB1
  • Preparing for or have passed PLAB2
  • GMC registration
For those without a GMC registration the role will be observation only with no direct patient contact
  • Have the relevant VISA

All successful candidates are required to have a DBS check prior to starting. This will be processed via our HR department and paid for by the candidate.

Submitting an application form does not guarantee an attachment.  There must be a consultant available to supervise the candidate during the period requested.

Once you have started the application form you will not be able to save and return to it later so please make sure you have all the required information.

Following submission, an email confirmation will be sent. Please note that this is not an automated process so you will not receive an email immediately after submitting your application.
