The purpose of a work experience placement is to help individuals decide on career options. Work experience is not reserved for young people, we invite applications from anyone wishing to explore alternative career options.
The areas and programme of work experience will be determined in relation to the likely career pathway of the students and will take into account age, academic record, interests and chosen academic pathway.
Which programme to apply for?
Programmes are run for aspiring doctors and people seeking other hospital-based work experience, with different application forms and application processes. Please read carefully the information on these pages for the type of work experience you would like to gain.
We are also happy to consider work experience requests from students undertaking a course not directly related to healthcare. For example, the video at the bottom of this page shows a group of Year 2 media students from Craven College filming with our therapy team.
