Airedale NHS library services can be used by all staff and students of the trust. We offer a range of resources and services which support clinical practice, service development, and all aspects of learning and continued professional development. Our primary function is to provide relevant, high quality information to support you to carry out your role effectively. Opening Hours The library is open 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Books can be returned through the blue return box which can be found between the Education Centre Reception and Library. You can access the computer room and seating area outside of these hours, using your staff ID card with the card reader on the doors opposite the Education Centre Lounge. Renewing Books You can renew library books through the library catalogue or the MyCirqa app. You will need your reader code and PIN to log in. The reader code can be found on the email notifications you receive from the library. If you need to reset your PIN, please contact us. NHS Knowledge and Library Hub There is a new way to search for health and care evidence. This easy to use search tool enables you to find the information you need. With one-click access to full articles, options to browse other articles from the same journal issue, and links to databases for in-depth searching, the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub is here for all your searching needs. Once you have registered for an OpenAthens account you will have full access to the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub. This is an excellent search tool that connects you seamlessly to a range of high quality knowledge and evidence resources all in one place. When you click the View Complete Issue button on the hub, you are taken to BrowZine. You can use this on its own to browse the journals we subscribe to and open the articles that interest you. Use BrowZine on your computer or download the app to browse on your phone or tablet. Some of our e-books are not yet discoverable through the Knowledge & Library Hub. You will find links to them from the library catalogue and you can search directly on ProQuest Ebook Central The following helpsheets and video tutorials have been designed to give you a quick overview of our resources and how to access them. Library staff are able to provide you with more detail and insight through one-to-one sessions and group training.
