Airedale NHS library services can be used by all staff and students of the trust.
We offer a range of resources and services which support clinical practice, service development, and all aspects of learning and continued professional development. Our primary function is to provide relevant, high quality information to support you to carry out your role effectively.
From 5pm Monday 30th March 2020 until further notice the Library & Knowledge Service will be operating a virtual service only. This means that the physical library stock will not be accessible.
Requests for articles, literature searches and other information can still be made through this website and the library team will have access to their emails. Most books already on loan have been renewed automatically until 29th May. There is no need to check if your book has been renewed, any that are returned late when the library re-opens won't incur fines. You can still return books through the blue book return bin and this will be checked at least once each week.
During this time, we encourage all Airedale NHS Foundation Trust staff to make use of our e-resources. If you haven't already done so, you can register for an OpenAthens account which gives you access to everything listed on the e-resources tab.
To access most of the resources listed below you will need an OpenAthens account. Where you see a log in option you may need to select an institution which will be NHS England.
The following helpsheets and video tutorials have been designed to give you a quick overview of our resources and how to access them. Library staff are able to provide you with more detail and insight through one-to-one sessions and group training.
